What a special night that Poland Independent hosted! Some of Wellington’s underground finest were joined by AKL’s own to play a Garden special party up in Aro Valley, with this photo album celebrating the bands I was able to shove my way through to take shots of.
In order of appearance: Title Pending, King Fish, DARTZ, Ripship, ELK.

Also great to see live again from earlier in the year were the power duo Ripship, recalling sci-fi tales and sending the crowd through a buzzy trip!
And of course, since we had both bands tonight, we were treated to a feast of Fish & Ships courtesy of each band with special guest Ruben of Title Pending, video of the song below!
Blu Fish
It was so good to see Blu Fish playing live again at last after seeing the first three shows they played with Pale Lady in April! A talented infusion of indie spirit with surfer rock riffs, oozing charisma on stage and another drummer that can play two instruments at once!
